About volunteering
- Intergroup is always looking for volunteers to speak at youth centers, schools, institutions, Riker’s Island as well as other meeting groups in NYC. To talk about the Al-Anon program and how it relates to your life.
- Please email the Intergroup office with your name phone # and email address. After you register you will be given advanced notice to when and where speakers are needed.
- In appropriate cases, travel expenses involved in volunteer service can be reimbursed.

How can I get involved?
- Do service—volunteer at the Intergroup Office to answer the phones or become a speaker, an Alateen Group Sponsor, an Intergroup Representative or join the Intergroup Board of Trustees.
- Ask your meeting to make a regular contribution to Intergroup.
- Purchase conference approved literature from us and ask your group to purchase from Intergroup also.
- Make a donation. (Since Intergroup is a nonprofit organization, donations are tax deductible.) Send us a donation by mail or make one on line. Consider a monthly donation.
